GARDEN (Tudela, Navarra)

This is a small intervention in a consolidate garden in the city centre of Tudela (Navarra).

In order to generate more residential space and improved strategical access to the city, the client sold an important piece of land in the city centre, part of a garden with hundred-year-old palm trees that had to be transplanted. The development created a new street that was 80cm lower than the original garden.

Our project consisted in a new piece of landscaping that resolved this difference of levels, providing a new canopy for the access to the new street and integrating car and pedestrian access.

The garden is defined by walls of white concrete, which involved the transplanting of one of the palm trees into a central point in the access area.
